For the first time since ascending to the top spot on March 24th, Haverford (Pa.) has company in the No. 1 vote game, as Massapqeua (N.Y.) received one of eight to inch closer to the Fords atop the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine High School Boys' Top 25. Haverford remained comfortably in the top spot with the other seven first-place votes, six points ahead of .

The Top 10 all stayed put this week, with Landon (Md.), Syosset (N.Y.) and Gonzaga (D.C.) rounding out the Top 5 - though Darien (Conn.) pulled into a tie for sixth with McDonogh (Md.)

West Genessee (N.Y.) was the prime mover, jumping from 24th to 11th with its 8-0 start. Ridgfield (Conn.) joined the rankings at No. 19, while Ward Mellville (N.Y.), St. Paul's (Md.) and Northport (N.Y.) jumped in the final five at No. 22, 23 and 25, respectively.
