The 2012-14 U.S. women's national team heads to Palo Alto, Calif.,
Wednesday through Sunday for the seventh annual US Lacrosse Stars
& Stripes event featuring top international and collegiate
women's lacrosse action.
The defending Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Cup champion U.S. team will face 2009 silver medalist Team Australia in the featured weekend game, to take place Sunday at 10 a.m. PT. Team USA also will take on Team Canada as well as local collegiate programs Cal and Stanford. Other teams in action include Team England and Rikkyo University (Japan). In total, 18 games will be played throughout the five-day event.
