Best advice received from a coach:
"You're only as good as your next play."
What are your strengths as a player?
I'm a good shooter and have a pretty good lacrosse IQ.
What should every player at your position know, or need
to be able to do on the field?
As an attackman, you need to have the ability to dodge effectively to goal and make good decisions with the ball whether it is to shoot, pass or pull the ball out.
What's the most important part of your game
The most important part of my preparation is the film work and practice leading up to the game, with the goal being to know the opponent's scheme well enough that nothing they throw at you on game day comes as a surprise.
What's one tip for young lacrosse players?
Have fun playing lacrosse, but continue to work hard. It's important to find that balance when playing any sport and I think lacrosse, in particular, fosters creativity – so inherently it's a fun game.
