NEW YORK, N.Y. -- 2010 NLL MVP and former Syracuse star Casey Powell headlines Team USA's roster for Saturday's Bowhunter Cup, an international exhibition game between the United States and the Iroquois Nationals at the War Memorial at Oncenter in Syracuse, N.Y. Faceoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. For ticket information, visit www.usindoorlacrosse.com.

The game is a warmup for the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship, which will be held at Telsa Arena in Prague, Czech Republic on May 21-28, 2011. Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, England, Finland and Ireland will join the United States and Iroquois Nationals in the one-week tournament.

Powell was co-captain of the U.S. team that won a silver medal at the 2006 world field lacrosse championships. He previously won a gold medal with that team in 1998.

Two members of the exhibition squad -- forward Matt Zash and defender Chris Schiller -- were members of the 2010 U.S. team that defeated Canada to bring the world field lacrosse title back to the U.S. over the summer.

Other players with Team USA field lacrosse ties are Kevin Buchanan (2010 training team), Jack Reid (2010 training team) and Joe Walters (2006, 2010 training team).

The Nationals are expected to release their roster later this week.
