PHILADELPHIA- Nicole Caniglia scored two goals to lead Temple but it was not enough to offset a 10-0 haltime deficit, as the women's lacrosse team fell 15-2 to top-ranked Penn on Saturday afternoon. The Cherry and White drop to 13-6 on the year, while Penn improves to 14-1.

The Quakers, fresh off an upset of #1 Northwestern, wasted no time showing their dominance, racing out to a 10-0 lead in the first half. Caniglia got Temple on the board with an unassisted goal at 10 minutes into the second stanza but Penn rattled off three more tallies to take a 14-1 lead with just over eight minutes remaining. The senior scored again off of a free position shot with just under four minutes to go.

Goalie Bridget McMullan had one save as TU's starting goaltender, while Jessica Colucci had seven saves in 38 minutes.
