BOSTON - Wednesday proved to be a record-setting day for the No. 11/10 Terriers, as sophomore Erica Baumgartner tied program records, notching seven assists and nine points, and senior co-captain Lauren Morton scored a career-high six goal en route to a 19-9 win over Stony Brook at Nickerson Field.

The Terriers (11-2, 4-0 AE) extended their winning streak to eight games after jumping out to an early lead, notching six consecutive goals to open the game before Stony Brook (5-6, 0-4 AE) got on the board with a pair of scores midway through the half. BU ran the score to 13-4 at the break and 15-4 nine minutes into the second half before the Seawolves tallied five straight goals to close the gap a bit. However, the Terriers finished strong, scoring the last four goals of the afternoon.

Eight Boston University players got in on the scoring, including sophomores Traci Landy with four, Baumgartner with two and Xan Weitzel with one. Junior Sarah Dalton chipped in two goals and classmate Steph Walker had one, while freshmen Corcoran Downey and Rachel Collins had one score each.

Baumgartner collected four of her assists during the first half and three during the second, including assists on three consecutive goals. Morton notched all six of her scores during the first half, registering each of her goals in pairs - including the game's opening tallies.

The Terriers bested the Seawolves in most categories, including shots (38-17), ground balls (18-14) and draw controls (20-10).
