Washington, D.C. - The sixth-ranked Georgetown University women's lacrosse team rallied from two goals down over the final 5:50 and junior Megan Bloomer's game-winning goal with 27 seconds left in regulation propelled the Hoyas to an 8-7 victory over No. 4 Virginia on Wednesday. GU improves to 9-3 on the season while the Cavaliers, who had a four-game winning streak snapped, fall to 10-3.
