The U.S. Under-19 team handled the Philadelphia All-Stars 15-7 on Saturday at the United Sports Training Center in Downington, Pa., in the third of its five exhibition games to get ready for the 2008 International Lacrosse Federation U-19 World Championship.

Matthew Dolente continued his solid play for the U.S. team, winning 17-of-22 faceoffs while scoring a goal.

"We felt today we made some real progress," said U.S. team coach Chuck Apel. "As coaches we're getting a handle on these guys and how we want to use them. We have a ways to go, but we can really see things starting to come together."

The U.S.team will be back in action on Sunday against a team of all-stars from the D.C. metro area at Georgetown Prep at 3 p.m.. The final exhibition game will be on June 29 at Mercer Island High School in Seattle as the team completes training camp before heading to Canada for the world championships, which begin on July 3.
