Box Score

Washington, D.C. - Georgetown senior attacker Andrew Baird (Baltimore, Md./Loyola Blakefield) scored the game-winning goal with 2:16 left in the second overtime period to lift the No. 12 Hoyas past visiting Hobart, 13-12 in ECAC action on a sun-splashed Saturday afternoon on the Multi-Sport Field. Georgetown (3-2, 2-0 ECAC) has now won 13 straight games over the Statesmen.

The final team statistics were nearly identical. Hobart held two-goal leads of 2-0, 5-3, 7-5. Georgetown didn't take its first lead until Hoya sophomore Chris Schuville (Lloyd Harbor, N.Y./Cold Spring Harbor) netted an even-strength goal with 4:51 to go in the third period.

Baird finished with five goals and an assist while sophomore Craig Dowd (Easy Northport, N.Y./Northport) tallied two goals and two assists.

Senior Miles Kass (Rye, N.Y./Hotchkiss) finished with 14 saves in the cage.
