NLL: Edmonton Franchises Two Players

from press release

The Edmonton Rush have slapped the franchise tag on their goaltenders Matt Disher and Chris Levis preventing them from going to unrestricted free-agency for the upcoming season.

Disher was re-acquired by the Rush from the Portland Lumber-Jax in the NLL's recent dispersal draft.

Disher recorded career numbers in Portland last season 10.80 G.A.A. and a .792 save percentage.

Levis signed with the Rush as a free-agent after spending three seasons with the Colorado Mammoth. Levis set career highs last season in saves (596) and minutes played (596).
