Roughnecks Roll Past Edmonton

EDMONTON - The Calgary Roughnecks defeated the
Edmonton Rush 22-10 on Friday night at Rexall Place. Calgary raced
out to a 10-1 lead at the end of the first quarter. Dane Dobbie and
Scott Ranger each recorded a first quarter hat trick. The
Roughnecks took a 14-3 lead into halftime.
Dobbie led the Roughnecks with seven goals and four assists. Scott
Ranger scored four goals and added six assists. Josh Sanderson
scored three goals and added six assists. Matt King had a storng
game in the Calgary net.
Calgary's offense was clicking on all cylinders, and the power play
unit scored seven goals in eight power play opportunities. Dan Teat
was the leading scorer for Edmonton with four goals and an
assist.
Calgary (7-2) returns home to host the Colorado Mammoth on
Saturday, March 21. Edmonton (3-7) plays next at San Jose on March
21.
