Kimmel responded by notching his second two-pointer of the night while on the run. Young scored the last goal of the half off of an assist from Poli to keep the Chesapeake lead to four, 10-6.
Danowski began the second half scoring with his first of three goals of the quarter 25 seconds into the third period. Chesapeake countered with goals from Westervelt and John Grant Jr. Danowski notched his first two-pointer of the night off of an assist from Steve Dircks, cutting the Chesapeake lead to 12-9.
