Nike/US Lacrosse National High School Boys' Top 25 Poll

It was one of the calmest weeks in the Nike/US Lacrosse Top 25 with few changes among the rankings.
Gonzaga (D.C.) likely clinched a top-five ranking for the year when it won its fourth-straight Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship on Monday. The Purple Eagles are currently No. 3 and could move up to No. 2 if Ward Melville (N.Y.) falls during either the county or state playoffs, which begin this week.
Malvern Prep (Pa.) won the Inter-Ac title over the weekend and moves into the Top 10. The Friars are another team that could easily move into one of the first five spots by the end of the year depending on what happens to the teams in front of them during the playoffs.
Overall, 34 teams received votes in this week's rankings and only three points seperate Nos. 25 from 29.
Voters for the Nike/US Lacrosse High School Boys’ Lacrosse National Top 25 poll include US Lacrosse area representatives and Lacrosse Magazine contributors.
US Lacrosse will release next Tuesday the Nike/US Lacrosse High School Girls’ Lacrosse National Top 25 poll and regional reports. The next boys’ report will be released May 28.
