Lacrosse Magazine has picked Colorado State to repeat as US Lacrosse Women's Division Intercollegiate Associates (WDIA) champion, but not without a strong push from Santa Clara. The Rams are ranked No. 1 in LM's preseason poll, announced Monday, followed by the Broncos, who boast LM preseason player of the year Renee Eligio.

Colorado State returns a strong goalie of its own in Annette Greenberg, who played a major role in CSU's championship run.

Eligio, a senior, led Santa Clara to its first WWLL championship in 2010.

Cal Poly, UC Davis Club and Lindenwood round out LM's preseason top five.

Rankings were compiled by LM staff with consultation from college coaches. Click here for more preseason projections.
