Gulls' Trish DiGirolomo Honored by Capital

YORK, Pa. – For the third time this season, a member
of the Salisbury University women's lacrosse team has been named
Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week as junior attacker
Trish DiGirolomo (Davidsonville, Md.) was given the honor for the
week of April 5. Freshman midfielder Roxanne Raab (Fallston, Md.)
and senior attacker Kim Cudmore (Bel Air, Md.) both earned CAC
Player of the Week honors earlier this year.
DiGirolomo led her No. 1-ranked Sea Gulls (13-0, 5-0 CAC) in
capturing a pair of CAC victories this past week, registering nine
points in just two games. The Davidsonville, Md., native first
dished out three assists in a mid-week 20-1 victory over Wesley
College, then scored three goals and distributed three assists in
Saturday's 14-10 victory over No. 18-ranked Stevenson University.
On the season, DiGirolomo has netted 11 goals and is second on the
team in assists, with 24.
