Gulls' Trish DiGirolomo Honored by Capital

from press release

YORK, Pa.
– For the third time this season, a member of the Salisbury University women's lacrosse team has been named Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week as junior attacker Trish DiGirolomo (Davidsonville, Md.) was given the honor for the week of April 5. Freshman midfielder Roxanne Raab (Fallston, Md.) and senior attacker Kim Cudmore (Bel Air, Md.) both earned CAC Player of the Week honors earlier this year.

DiGirolomo led her No. 1-ranked Sea Gulls (13-0, 5-0 CAC) in capturing a pair of CAC victories this past week, registering nine points in just two games. The Davidsonville, Md., native first dished out three assists in a mid-week 20-1 victory over Wesley College, then scored three goals and distributed three assists in Saturday's 14-10 victory over No. 18-ranked Stevenson University. On the season, DiGirolomo has netted 11 goals and is second on the team in assists, with 24.

The Sea Gulls will be on the road for their next contest, against The College of New Jersey, on April 10 at 1 p.m.
