Salisbury's Cudmore Earns CAC Accolades
from press release
YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference
announced its weekly Player of the Week awards and Salisbury
University senior attacker Kim Cudmore (Bel Air, Md.) was named the
women's lacrosse recipient for the week of March 22.
This marks the second consecutive week that a member of the SU
women's lacrosse program has received the honor, as freshman
midfielder Roxanne Raab (Fallston, Md.) received the distinction
last week.
Cudmore help propel the No. 2-ranked Sea Gulls (9-0, 2-0 Capital
Athletic Conference) to a pair of non-conference victories over the
last week, including a 16-11 victory over No. 1 Franklin &
Marshall University on Saturday. In the victory over the Diplomats,
Cudmore had a team-high six points on two goals and four
assists.
The senior attacker also won three draw controls and caused one
turnover. In SU's other contest of the week, a 21-9 victory over
Virginia Wesleyan College, Cudmore posted two goals on just two
shots. For the season, Cudmore has a team-high 35 points on 16
goals and 19 assists.
The Sea Gulls are scheduled to play Union (N.Y.) College this
Friday at Sea Gull Stadium at 4 p.m. The contest will be the first
official meeting between the two programs.
