Limeston's Ilott Named CC Player of Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. - Limestone College senior Katie
Ilott (Brooklin, Ontario, Canada) was named Conference Carolinas
women's lacrosse Player of the Week, as released by the league
office on Tuesday. Ilott helped the No. 4-ranked Saints to wins
over Queens and Lees-McRae in the opening week of the 2010
season.
Ilott scored five goals against the Royals as she also recorded
five draw controls. She also won five draw controls in Sunday's
22-0 shutout against Lees-McRae as she also scored two goals and
recorded a caused turnover. Ilott was 4-4 in free-position attempts
for the week and had a shot percentage of .778 for the week.
The Saints hosts No. 10 Gannon on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Saints Field.
