Limestone Women to Help Lax 4 Life

from press releases

GAFFNEY, S.C. - The Limestone College women's lacrosse team is participating in the Lax 4 Life initiative, which benefits the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation. The Saints will be collecting money at their home game against Dowling College on March 28 at 12 p.m. The team will also participate in the event during its road game at Shippensburg University on March 20 in Pennsylvania.

The Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation was created to increase awareness of adolescent suicides and help identify adolescents at risk. Allyson was the younger sister of West Chester goalkeeper Mary Beth Green. The women's lacrosse teams in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference started Lax 4 Life last year and the effort has expanded to include NCAA Division II teams across the nation.
