The 2014 NCAA Division I women's bracket will follow the major changes made last year that expanded the size of the field to include 26 teams, representing 13 conferences. The only way for a team to ensure it earns a postseason NCAA berth is to win its conference tournament.

The 13 conference tournaments range from full quarterfinals featuring all teams in their respective conference to a top-four semifinal format that many conferences opt for, including the Ivy League.

The first two conference tournaments began this past weekend – ACC and Patriot League – while the remaining 11 conferences will battle it out this upcoming weekend in May. The University of Maryland and Loyola (Md.) have been named the ACC and Patriot League champions, respectively, and have earned their automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. All conference tournaments conclude on Selection Sunday.

Below are all the conference tournament formats and dates, which will be updated with the participants, scores and recaps as they become available. Check back this month to see who will be filling out your bracket in May.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS: Maryland (ACC), Louisville (Big East), Loyola (Patriot).
