In-Game: No. 2 Maryland at No. 3 Syracuse
The biggest game so far on the Division I women's lacrosse calendar (with due respect to the Florida-North Carolina tilt in February) sees the only regular season ACC clash between No. 2 Maryland (which leaves for the Big Ten in a year) and No. 3 Syracuse. Both enter the contest, which takes place at the Carrier Dome, unbeaten, and boast plenty of firepower.
Maryland has long been one of the powerhouse programs in women's lacrosse, and Syracuse has entered that class in recent years, but has yet to take home an NCAA title, a feat Maryland has accomplished numerous times, most recently in 2010. A year ago, the Terrapins ended the Orange's season in the NCAA semifinals.
