All-Session Passes on Sale for NCAA Division I Women's Championship
from press release
STONY BROOK, N.Y. -- All-session passes for the 2012 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship, held at Stony Brook University's Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium May 25 & 27, are now on sale through the Stony Brook Athletics ticket office.
The championship, which was also held at Stony Brook in 2011, brought approximately 20,000 people to the Three Village community last season. Northwestern defeated Maryland in the final to win the national title, as the LaValle Stadium crowd of 8,011 was the second-largest to ever see an NCAA Women's Lacrosse title game.
All-access passes, which provide entry into all three games Memorial Day weekend, cost $20 for adults and $18 for youths ages 12 and under. These tickets are now available by phone at 631-632-4513, in person at the Stony Brook Athletics ticket office or online at GoSeawolves.org/tickets.
Groups of 20 or more are eligible to purchase tickets at the group rate of $16 per person. All group sales must be made in person or by phone at 631-632-4513.
Individual game tickets for the semifinals and national championship game will go on sale Feb. 1.
Stony Brook has developed a rich tradition of hosting NCAA Lacrosse Championship events. In addition to hosting the women's lacrosse championship last season, the Seawolves were hosts of the 2006 & 2010 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship quarterfinals. The 2010 quarterfinals saw a LaValle Stadium record 10,024 watch Stony Brook play Virginia and Cornell play Army.
