DURHAM, N.H. — University of New Hampshire head women's lacrosse coach Michael Daly has decided to leave the University after leading the women's lacrosse program for three seasons. The announcement was made Wednesday by Director of Athletics Marty Scarano.

Daly's departure from the program is effective immediately and a national search to fill the position will commence.

Daly led UNH to a 23-27 overall record in three years and guided the Wildcats to the America East Championship tournament in 2010 and 2011. In his first season at the helm, Daly guided the 'Cats to a 10-7 overall record in which they started the season 4-0 and climbed as high as No. 15 in the national poll.
