BC Pulls Away from Harvard Late

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College
women's lacrosse team defeated Harvard at home on Thursday, 15-10.
The Eagles are now 7-1 while Harvard falls to 1-3.
Senior Hannah Alley was the leading goal scorer for the Eagles with
four, while classmate Kristin Igoe and junior Brittany Wilton each
had three goals.
The Eagles fell behind early, as Harvard got on the board first.
After tying the game 4-4 with 13:09 remaining in the first half,
the Eagles scored to take their first lead of the game on a
Caroline Barclay goal with 8:14 left in the half.
With less than ten minutes to play in the game, Harvard tied the
game at 10. But Boston College responded, scoring five straight
goals to finish the game.
Boston College will host No. 1 ranked Maryland on Sunday March 20
at 1:00 p.m. in ACC action.
