from press release
VILLANOVA, Pa. - After an opening goal by
Villanova senior Carly Miller just 19 seconds into the contest,
Boston College scored nine unanswered goals to take command of the
non-conference women's lacrosse match played here Saturday
afternoon. The Eagles posted a 14-8 triumph over the Wildcats (1-1
overall, 0-0 BIG EAST).
Miller got the Wildcats off on the right foot when she scored off a
feed from sophomore Shawna Giust at 29:41. But nationally ranked
Boston College responded less than a minute later with a goal by
Hannah Alley and followed that with two goals off the stick of

first half.
Boston College took an 8-1 lead into the break at halftime.
The Eagles extended their advantage to 9-1 on a Jill Rekart goal

Player of the Week Justine Donodeo. Boston College scored the next
three goals in a five minute span to push its lead to 12-2 with
