William & Mary Posts 16 on Academic List

RICHMOND, Va. —In addition to excelling on the field
in 2010, the William and Mary lacrosse team also performed well in
the classroom as evidenced by the 16 players who earned a spot on
the Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner's Academic Honor
Roll.
The list of W&M players honored include: Kristin Anderson,
Maggie Anderson, Lauren Binzer, Lauren Canning, Katie Delaney,
Emily Geary, Ashley Holofcener, Sarah Jonson, Kyrstin Mackrides,
Jenny Michael, Sarah Mulvey, Caitlin Murphy, Katie Rees, Sally
Roberts, Stephanie Steinweg and Mary Zulty. Of the 16 players
honored, 11 have earned the distinction multiple times.
CAA student-athletes are eligible for the award by achieving at
least a 3.2 grade point average based on semester performance or
cumulative GPA.
The Tribe was ranked among the nation's top 20 for nearly the
entire 2010 season en route to earning the program's third
consecutive CAA Tournament appearance.
