Three Future Orange Earn All-American

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Three members of the Orange women's
lacrosse recruiting class have been named to the 2010 Under Armour
All-America team. Alyssa Costantino, Katie Webster and Natalie
Glanell were among the nation's top high school seniors who earned
the honor and participated in the fifth annual Under Armour
All-America Lacrosse Classic on Saturday, July 3 at Towson
University.
Glanell, a native of Davidsonville, Md., started on defense for the
South Team. She picked up a game-high four ground balls. Costantino
and Webster came off the bench for the North Team. Costantino, a
goalie from West Islip, N.Y., was credited with the win after
recording seven saves in the second half, helping the North to a
17-16 victory. She also picked up two ground balls.
Webster had one shot on goal in the contest. A native of Syracuse
and graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Webster was also named
to The Post-Standard's 2010 All-Central New York Girls Lacrosse
Team, as selected by a panel of local coaches.
The trio of All-Americans will join the Orange this fall. Syracuse
finished the 2010 season with a 15-7 record and advanced to the
Final Four for the second time in the last three years.
