Patriot League Notebook
Navy Wins Battle for First
Navy and Colgate waged a back-and-forth affair during the first half of Saturday's contest. The Raiders held an 8-5 lead at halftime, but the Mids' defense threw up a wall in the second half and their offense scored seven times to secure the 12-8 victory. Navy is 3-0 in the Patriot League for the first time in program history and won for the first time in four tries against Colgate.

Another Tussle for First Ensues on Wednesday
Fresh off the heels of the Raider/Midshipmen contest for first, Navy and American will take to the field Wednesday in Annapolis also with first place on the line. With a win, the Midshipmen would clinch a spot in the Patriot League Tournament. If the Eagles pull off the victory, they would take over first place in the League at 4-1 and would secure a postseason berth if Lehigh defeats Holy Cross on Saturday.

Rawlick, Dykstra Named to 2010 Tewaaraton Watch List
Navy senior Erin Rawlick and Lehigh junior Lauren Dykstra are on the 2010 Tewaaraton Watch List for women's lacrosse, it was announced March 5. The award was formally instituted in August 2000 and is given annually to the NCAA men and women's lacrosse players of the year.

Dykstra Recognized by Matt DaSilva of Lacrosse Magazine
Lauren Dykstra of Lehigh, who was voted the Patriot League's Preseason Offensive Player of the Year by League coaches and sports information directors, was also recognized by Lacrosse Magazine writer Matt DaSilva before the season's opening draw. DaSilva created his own preseason team of All-Americans (which he called the All-DaSilva Team). Dykstra occupied one of the attack positions, alongside Northwestern's Katrina Dowd and Kelly Haggerty of Ohio State.
