WILLIAMSBURG, Va.

The Tribe (5-3) is coming off one of its best defensive efforts of the season with a 10-8 victory against California on Wednesday. In addition to allowing a season-low eight goals, the Tribe held the Golden Bears scoreless for a span of 32:37 en route to earning the victory. Additionally, W&M utilized a balanced scoring attack, as seven different players recorded a goal for the Green and Gold.

Individually, All-American junior defender Sarah Jonson entered the week ranked first nationally in caused turnovers per game and ground balls per game. Following another impressive effort in the win earlier this week, she continues to lead the conference in both categories, while junior standout Grace Golden ranks second in both categories.
