WORCESTER, Mass.
– For the second consecutive week, Holy
Cross junior Amy Martin (Bloomfield, Mich.) has been named the
Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week. She
stopped 20 of 42 shots for a .476 save percentage and a 11.00 goals

is the third time that she has earned this honor in her career as
she was also named the Goalie of the Week as a freshman in
2008.
Martin made nine saves for a .474 save percentage in the 12-10 win
over Mount St. Mary’s on March 3, as the Crusaders earned
their first victory of the season. She then stopped 11 shots for a
.478 save percentage in the 12-6 loss at Denver on March 6. Both
games were played at Denver's Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.
Her 10.40 saves per game this season rank third in the Patriot
League and her .486 save percentage is fourth. Her 360 career saves
are fifth all-time at Holy Cross.
The Crusaders (1-4 overall) return to action when they play their
first home game of the season at the new Holy Cross Field with a
contest versus Vermont on Saturday, March 13 at 3:00 p.m.
