Led by the latest in its long pipeline of Division I-caliber athletes, defending champion Onondaga Community College has netted the No. 1 spot in Lacrosse Magazine's NJCAA men's lacrosse preseason rankings. Midfielder Matt Pratt has been named LM's preseason player of the year.
"He's probably the most complete player we've had," OCC head coach Chuck Wilbur said of Pratt.
Essex, Nassau, Suffolk and Monroe round out LM's preseason top five.
