LaBella Named Assistant at Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College has named
Joe LaBella assistant coach of men's lacrosse, head coach John Haus
has announced.
LaBella, an all-American goalkeeper for Molloy College, comes to
LVC after serving as both the junior varsity head coach as
Massapequa High School on Long Island and as assistant coach of the
South Shore Seals club program in Massapequa.
LaBella was a two-time All-American at Molloy College, where he was
consistantly among the nation's best Division II keepers. An NCAA
scholar-athlete, LaBella backstopped the Lions from 2004 to 2006,
leading them to the 2005 ECAC championship, and he was named the
school's Athlete of the Year as a senior. He graduated with a B.A.
in criminal justice in December 2006.
In addition to coaching, LaBella has remained a one-on-one goalie
trainer, working with players at all levels.
Lebanon Valley will enter its second season of varsity play under
coach Haus in spring 2011, welcoming a 24-member freshman class to
the program.
