Dan Lawrence Named Maritime Head Coach

Maritime College Director of Athletics Dick Hack has announced
that Dan Lawrence has been tabbed to lead the men's lacrosse team.
Lawrence has been ever-present with the Maritime Athletics
Department for the past four years, serving as the associate head
coach for men's lacrosse as well as the Assistant Athletic Director
for NCAA Compliance.
While with the Privateers, Coach Lawrence has mentored four Rookie
of the Week selections, three Player of the Week Selections, 16
All-Conference Selections and one Conference Player of The Year.
Prior to coaching at Maritime, Lawrence served as the Head
Assistant Coach at Pfeiffer University, a Division-II school
located in North Carolina, for three years.
Lawrence has also worked numerous camps and clinics and is
currently the Boys Director for the World Class Lacrosse Camp and
the Field Director for the Big 3 Lacrosse Camp. He also has
international experience, having twice brought teams to Europe over
the summer. His teams have finished second and first in the Prague
Cup and first in the Berlin Open.
Lawrence, a native of Long Island, currently resides in Connecticut
with his wife Sarah and infant son Noah.
