Cortland's DeLuca Named D-III Player of the Year

Cortland's Chris DeLuca has been named Division III's most outstanding player by the USILA.

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) on Wednesday released its season-end award winners for NCAA Division III men's lacrosse. Cortland's Chris DeLuca was named the division's most outstanding player.

Iroquois National Award
Most Outstanding Player - Chris DeLuca, Cortland

Fran McCall Award
Most Outstanding Midfielder - Sam Bradman, Salisbury

Most Outstanding Long-Stick Midfielder
Steve Simmons, Roanoke

Turnbull Award
Most Outstanding Attackman - Steve Kazimer, Stevenson

Most Outstanding Specialist
Tom Burke, Cortland

C. Markland Kelly Award
Most Outstanding Goalie - Dennis Costanza, Geneseo

Schmeisser Award
Most Outstanding Defenseman - Sam Love, Roanoke
