WAC's Stewart Earns Centennial Def. Honor

LANCASTER, Pa.
- Washington College sophomore goalie Peter Stewart (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's) has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the week for men's lacrosse for the week ending March 21st. Stewart's efforts helped lead the Shoremen to a 9-8 conference win over McDaniel Saturday.

Stewart made a career-high 20 saves against the Green Terror, including seven in the fourth quarter. He anchored a defense that allowed just one extra-man goal on seven opportunities.

The award is Stewart's first weekly conference honor of his career and the first for a Shoreman this season.
