Kazimer Named CAC Player of the Week

YORK, Pa. - Stevenson men's lacrosse senior Steve Kazimer
(Syracuse, N.Y./Henninger) was named CAC Player of the Week on
Monday, marking the second time in the last three weeks that a
Mustang has received the conference's weekly honor.
Junior Richie Ford (Baltimore/Towson) was also selected on March 8
after scoring 10 points on five goals and five assists in wins over
RIT and No. 16 Western New England.
Kazimer totaled 13 points with seven goals and six assists as the
No. 2-ranked Mustangs remained undefeated with wins over two
nationally-ranked teams.
In a 16-11 victory over No. 15 Stevens, Kazimer had three goals and
three assists before contributing to seven of Stevenson's 12 goals
in a come-from-behind road win at No. 18 Lynchburg. Two of his
three goals and three of his four assists came during a 5-0 run to
start the fourth quarter that gave the Mustangs their first lead en
route to 12-9 victory.
The Mustangs travel to Mary Washington on Wednesday before
returning home for a top-10 showdown with No. 7 Roanoke on Saturday
at Caves Athetics Complex beginning at 1:00 p.m.
