Limestone Men Finalize Schedule

from press release

GAFFNEY, S.C. — Limestone College men's lacrosse coach J.B. Clarke has announced the Saints finalized 14-game schedule for the 2011 season. Facing a grueling slate, Limestone will have played six games before their home opener, facing competition from within Conference Carolinas as well as non-league contests against the Deep South, East Coast and Northeast-10 Conferences. Seven opponents on this season's schedule posted winning records a year ago, four of which were in the final USILA Division II Poll and one of which was a national finalist.

"We are excited about our 2011 schedule" said Clarke. "The challenges are great and have motivated the student-athletes in the off-season conditioning and have led to a terrific pre-season. Scrimmaging North Carolina, Hampden-Sydney and Jacksonville University helped prepare our team to begin the season. Conference Carolinas alone is a strong slate of opponents but adding the out of conference games that we have make this a formidable task. We welcome the challenge and can't wait to get started".
