from press release
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Le Moyne College head men's lacrosse
coach Dan Sheehan announced his 2010 schedule and team captains on
Tuesday, Dec. 15.
The Dolphins, who finished the 2009 season with a 16-1 record and
their fourth consecutive appearance in the National Championship
game, have 13 games scheduled on their slate in 2010. Three of Le
Moyne's 13 opponents were ranked in the top-10 of the final 2009
United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Coaches'
Poll.
Le Moyne, which returns 24 letterwinners and four starters, opens
the season against Mars Hill on Sunday, Feb. 28 in Charlottesville,
Virginia. The Lions, who the Dolphins will be playing for the first
time, finished the 2009 season receiving votes in the USILA poll
with an 11-4 record. The Dolphins then square off against a pair of
teams from the South Region at neutral sites. Le Moyne travels to
Severna Park, Md. to face #6 Limestone on March 7, before playing
Catawba in Lakeland, Fla. on March 11.
Le Moyne opens Northeast-10 Conference play with four contests,
three of which are at home, over the final 11 days of March. The
