| Le Moyne's stingy defense will again be on display in the NCAA Men's Division II Championships. |
The defending champions in both genders of NCAA Division II have
earned the right to defend their titles in 2010. C.W. Post has
squeezed into the four-team men’s field while Adelphi will
have to come out of the first round bracket if they hope to
repeat.
On the men’s side, Post will square off against Dowling
– the only team to defeat the Pioneers this year – in
one semifinal while Le Moyne matches up with Limestone for the
right to advance to the national championship, which will be
played on May 30.
In the six-team women’s bracket, Adelphi will face Stonehill
in the first game for the right to battle with C.W. Post on one
side of the draw. On the other side, West Chester will face
Limestone, with the winner advancing to play Lock Haven in the
semifinals. The women’s title game will be on Sunday, May 23,
in Gettysburg, Pa.
