Merrimack's Spinale Gets NE-10 Accolade

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Senior goaltender Corey
Spinale (Wakefield, MA) was named the Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of
the Week on Monday.
Spinale posted a 2-0 record with a 3.33 goals-against and .785 save
percentage, including an 11-save performance in a 6-5 thrilling win
over Adelphi on Saturday. He did not allow a goal in 30 minutes of
action in a 20-5 win over Franklin Pierce.
A two-time All-American, Spinale is 6-1 this season with a 6.06
goals-against and a .619 save percentage, both second in the
Northeast-10.
Merrimack (6-1, 4-0 NE-10) hosts Saint Anselm Wednesday night at 7
p.m. looking for its fifth straight victory.
