Merrimack's Lunney Sweeps NE-10 Kudos

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Corey Lunney (Little Silver,
NJ) was named the Northeast-10 Player and Freshman of the Week on
Monday.
Lunney tallied 11 goals and 12 points in two victories this week,
including seven goals and the game-winner in a 10-6 win over Pace
on Sunday.
The freshman attack has been named the Rookie of the Week three of
the first four weeks while the Player of the Week twice in four
weeks.
Lunney leads the country with 24 goals in five games this season
and has 29 points, three game-winners and nine man-advantage
goals.
Merrimack (4-1, 2-0 NE-10) hosts Franklin Pierce Tuesday at 7 p.m.
in the first game of a three-game home stand.
