NE-10 Goalie Honors Goes to St. A's Acone

EASTON, Mass. - Saint Anselm junior goalie Pat Acone (Bow,
N.H.) was named as the Northeast-10 Men's Lacrosse Goalie of the
Week for the second straight week for his play in a 17-10 romp over
Molloy last Saturday.
Acone turned aside 16 shots in the game, including six in the
second quarter, as he improved to 3-1 overall on the season. For
the year, Acone has an 8.17 goals against average and a .606 save
percentage and has post back-to-back 16-save showings.
The Hawks are receiving votes in this weeks USILA Division II
National Top-10 poll and return to action on Saturday afternoon as
the team travels to Adelphi for a 4 p.m. start in Garden City, N.Y.
