Lunney Earns NE-10 Player, Rookie Honors

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Corey Lunney (Little Silver,
NJ) was named the Northeast-10 Player and Rookie of the Week on
Monday, making it two straight Rookie of the Week honors.
Lunney tallied eight goals and nine points in two games, including
a game-winner and three man-advantage goals.
He scored five goals in 14-4 win at Rollins and leads the
conference with 13 goals and 17 points in just three games.
Merrimack (2-1) is off this week before hosting Saint
Michael’s on March 24 at 4 p.m. in the home and conference
opener at Warrior Field.
