Limestone's Bennett Named Player of Week

GAFFNEY, S.C. - Limestone College senior
midfielder/face-off specialist Sean Bennett (East Moriches, N.Y. /
Westhampton Beach HS) has been named the Conference Carolinas men's
lacrosse Player of the Week for his efforts in the sixth-ranked
Saints' 15-2 season opening win over Wingate last Saturday.
The 6-2, 200lb Bennett won 15 of his 16 face-off attempts (.938%)
serving as the catalyst as Limestone won 20-of-21 overall on the
day. He also added six groundballs in helping the Saints to a
43-10 advantage in that category.
Limestone (1-0) returns to action this coming Friday, February 26
hosting Florida Southern (1-0), face-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
at "The Rock".
