NCAA Men's DI Composite: Hounds Lead the Pack

by Sean Burns | LaxMagazine.com | Twitter

The Patriot League champions are the No. 1 team in every human ranking, enough to carry the average in our composite over No. 2 Duke. (John Strohsacker/LaxPhotos.com)

While Loyola has stood tall in the rankings all year, Duke had held the higher average rank of late due to their strong RPI numbers outweighing Loyola's dodgy computer ranks. But with Duke falling in the ACC semifinals to Syracuse, the Greyhounds take over the top spot this week despite Duke continuing to be the top-ranked RPI team in the country.

Each week, we will publish an aggregate of the rankings from Lacrosse Magazine, ESPN broadcasters Eamon McAnaney and Quint Kessenich, the Warrior media poll, the USILA coaches poll, the NCAA's RPI numbers and the LaxPower computer rankings. Click here for last week's composite ranks.
