Lacrosse Magazine, the flagship publication of US Lacrosse, published weekly NCAA Division I men's rankings every Monday throughout the season on LaxMagazine.com. These are the year-end rankings, which are topped by LM's preseason No. 1 team Duke.
The Blue Devils took their second straight NCAA title, defeating Notre Dame in the finals by a 11-9 score. On the way there, the top-seeded Duke team toppled Air Force, Johns Hopkins and Denver to earn its finals shot. The Fighting Irish, who rolled through the close of the season with the ACC tournament title and a run through Harvard, Albany and Maryland to reach the finals, close out at No. 2.
