Down at Half, Marist Explodes Past Canisius

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Marist men’s
lacrosse team overcame a halftime deficit, exploding for 11 goals
in the second half, to defeat Canisius 13-5 in a Metro Atlantic
Athletic Conference (MAAC) game on Saturday night.
Joseph Radin (Long Beach, N.Y.) scored a career-high four goals and added two assists. Jack Doherty (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) scored three goals and Connor Rice (Penfield, N.Y) and Drew Nesmith (Montclair, N.J.) each had two goals and an assist. Dave Scarcello (Buffalo, N.Y.) made 10 saves in goal.
Marist (6-1, 2-0 MAAC) returns home on Saturday, March 30, for a noon game against MAAC foe VMI.
