FOXBOROUGH, Mass.

On Saturday, March 31, in the first women's collegiate athletic event at Gillette Stadium, No. 1 ranked Northwestern University will face-off against 18th ranked Ohio State University and 12th ranked Syracuse University will play Harvard University.

On Saturday, April 21, Gillette Stadium will host the 3rd Annual New England Lacrosse Classic with Division II powers Bentley University and Merrimack College facing off, followed by pre-season 14th ranked Hofstra University taking the field against 11th ranked University of Massachusetts.

Both lacrosse events feature a wealth of local talent. Eighteen players from New England states populate the rosters of the four women's teams while 83 players from the four men's teams grew up in New England.

Beginning in 2012, Gillette Stadium will serve as the home field for University of Massachusetts football.
