Rutgers Eyeing 4-0 Against St. Joseph's

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Coming off a 12-5 victory at UMBC, the Rutgers men's lacrosse team (3-0) heads to Philadelphia, Pa. to take on Saint Joseph's in a 1 p.m. Saturday matchup at Finnesey Field.
Rutgers, which is off to its best start since the 2004 season, is led offensively by junior Will Mangan (Maplewood, N.J.). Mangan, who was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll the week of Feb. 28, has tallied eight goals in the Scarlet Knights' three victories, including a game-high four goals in the game against Manhattan.
Redshirted freshman Scott Klimchak (Clark, N.J.) has also contributed heavily on the offensive end, totaling a team-high 13 points on the season. Klimchak also received recognition from the conference as he was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll the week of Feb. 21.
Sophomore goalkeeper Joseph Donnelly (Newton Square, Pa.) has played solid for RU in the cage earning three wins and totaling a 4.00 goals against average.
Saint Joseph's enters Saturday's game looking for its first win of the season after an 0-2 start. Sophomore Kyle Williams leads the Hawks offensively with seven points and six goals. Junior goalkeeper Griffin Ferrigan has earned two starts this season, totaling 12 saves.
The Hawks, coached by Pat Cullinan in his seventh season, are 1-5 all-time against RU. In the most recent meeting between the two teams, last season, the Scarlet Knights defeated the Hawks by a mark of 15-6 in Piscataway.
