Towson's Pastirik Snags Colonial Honor

RICHMOND, Va.
– Graduate student Christian Pastirik (St. Mary's H.S./Annapolis, Md.) of Towson University has been named as the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending March 21, it has been announced by CAA officials. Pastirik scored six goals with two assists as the Tigers split a pair of games last week. He scored three goals, including the game-winning goal with six seconds remaining, in the Tigers' 10-9 victory over Navy.

In addition, Pastirik tallied three goals with two assists in the Tigers' 15-10 loss against top-ranked Virginia on Sunday afternoon.

A transfer from Cornell University, Pastirik is the Tigers' leading scorer with 11 goals and seven assists. He has scored at least two goals in each of the Tigers' last four games.

The Tigers, who are 1-4 on the season, will travel to Loyola University Maryland on Saturday afternoon for a 12 p.m. game against the Greyhounds that will air on WMAR-TV in Baltimore and nationally on ESPNU.
