Syracuse Stymies Siena; Jamieson Contributes

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The No. 1 Syracuse Men's Lacrosse Team secured a spot in the NCAA Quarterfinals Sunday night with an 11-4 victory against Siena (12-6). Syracuse (13-2) will meet Maryland on Saturday, May 16 at Hofstra.

Senior attackman  Kenny Nims led the Orange with five points (1g, 4a), while junior Cody Jamieson -- the heralded junior college transfer whose wait for eligibility consumed nearly two years -- and sophomore Stephen Keogh notched three goals apiece. Sophomore goalie John Galloway had a game-high 13 saves against the Saints.
